A lot going on so I have not updated this blog much. I am continuing to write the sequel "Shabb's Revenge" where a lot of questions are answered. I hope to have the first draft finished in June of this year.
I am featured on The Indie Spotlight. A great web site that promotes independent authors.
Just submitted Cave of Forlorn to another book reviewer and am in the process of being interviewed about being an author. Exciting times.

My book was reviewed and featured on the Cynical Optimist web site.
Finished the 2nd interview with Reena Jacobs. Subject was marketing. Quite a lengthy interview with so much material to cover.
Continuing to receive feedback on the book. I received thanks for making the young women such strong characters. It is not often you find that in a book or movie.
Writing every chance I can on the sequel. Just like the first book, it is taking on a life of its own. Typically, the battle scene is held until the end of the book. I certainly had that aspiration. Reality is different in this book. The first battle takes place on page 36 :-)
Finished another book cover for Aiden James (www.aidenjamesfiction). "Vampires' Last Lover" will be available within the next week.
Looking forward to Christmas !
Kind regards,
R.C.

Gee, Facebook is so much fun! Trying to set up a fan page and managed to kill it! It is back up but all the work I completed is gone. (sigh).
My book is now available on the Nook from Barnes and Noble. It is a reader that competes with the Kindle albeit in color. Cool device.

Another interview posted. This one be Reena Jacobs. I was interviewed on the topic of editing. Reena Jacobs Blog
More reviews coming this week. I have been contacted by three readers, all expressing their delight with the book - makes all the effort worth it! I have asked them to post reviews. Hopefully this week.
Taking this next week off. My plan is to get a lot of writing accomplished. The storyline is great so far and keeps getting more complex, just like the first book.
Kind regards,
R.C.

Greetings all,
I continue to receive great feedback from my first novel. This is shortly followed by the request for the sequel. I am writing as fast as I can when time allows and hope to have it finished by the end of February.
Today my very first interview as a new author was posted online:
http://kindle-author.blogspot.com/2010/11/kindle-author-interview-rc-rutter.html
Soon after that, I received an e-mail informing me that my book is being featured on the Bargain eBook web site:
http://bargainebooks.blogspot.com
After many years, it is hard to believe that not only is my first novel published, but it is receiving the great reviews that I had hoped for.
I will spend time this week working on the sequel. I have a photo shoot scheduled Saturday with a model. This is for a new book by a fellow author.
Life is grand!
Kind regards,
R.C.
